SANTA WAS HERE!

Christmas morning Dylan crawled into bed with me and Keenan.  I was wondering when he was going to ask about Santa.  It had been about 30 minutes of jabbering about his dreams when he needed to go to the bathroom.  As he walked by the balcony I heard him gasp "SANTA WAS HERE! SANTA WAS HERE!  MOM! LOOK!  LOOK!" he then turn to look outside, turns to me "Is it morning time yet?"  When I replied back yes he jumped up and shouted YIPPEE and ran downstairs.  "Daddy, Daddy Santa was here.  LOOK! LOOK! Those presents weren't there last night!"  Needless to say he was really excited. Dylan also noticed that the cookie and CHOCOLATE milk that he set out for Santa was gone.  As Dylan was opening his stocking full of goodies (The King from Cars, 2 matchbox cars, safety scissors, Pet Pals leapster game, a big brother Christmas ornament, and some candy) he said "Woe Santa is really cool."  Then he got to his Santa present.  He was so excited.  Santa got him exactly what he asked for.  "THE BAT CAVE! Look its the bat cave." Dylan said with a big smile.  Of course he wanted to play with it right away but I did get him to open the rest of his presents with a twist of the arm. ;)

The Igloo

Dylan & his buddy Naryk inside the igloo

Some people put out regular milk for Santa; I think he would rather have chocolate milk.

Santa

Santa told me Dylan wants a batcave.  I asked Dylan what did Santa say when you asked him for the batcave.  Dylan said that Santa said it might happen!

Measuring Cups

Grandma Jean was over to our place trying to make Dylan oatmeal.  She was looking through the cupboards for measuring cups and couldn't seem to find any.  She decided to ask Dylan if his mom had any measuring cups or if he knew where they were at.  Right away Dylan said mommy did and that he knew where they were and took off for his bedroom.  Grandma Jean sat there waiting for Dylan to come downstairs with the measuring cups when here walks Dylan in the kitchen holding his grow chart.  Apparently all Dylan heard was measuring.  Grandma couldn't stop laughing.  Right idea Buddy

Grammar Lesson

Last night Dylan, Keenan & I were all laying in bed.  Keenan was being a little stinker so I picked him up while saying little baby you need to go to sleep.
Which baby? Dylan asked
Both. I replied back.
Dylan proceeded to inform me if I was talking to both of them I should of said little babies instead of baby.  Or I could have said You two need to go to sleep.
I couldn't believe I was sitting in my bed past my children's bedtime getting a grammar lesson by my 3 1/2 yr old.  He is such a character.

Guess Who Likes Pudding Pops

We finally got Dylan to try pudding pops and of course he loved them.   "See you should trust mommy & daddy when we tell you that you will like something." I said.
"Well I'm not trying burgers!" He replied.
