Dylan was waiting for me to get out of the shower. He had his train all set up to give me a ride. He heard the shower shut off & hollered "All -a-board"

He Knows The Seasons
"Mommy do you want to know the seasons?" Dylan asked. "Sure." I replied. I really didn't doubt that my little smarty pants was going to tell me all the seasons, however I was a little surprised he knew them in the correct order. "Do you want me to start with Summer?" Dylan asked. "Sure." I replied back. "Summer. Fall. Winter. Spring." Dylan responded with a smile. I was so impressed and Dylan could tell. I then asked him what do we do during all the seasons. His answers were: "Summer you play & Mommy's take their kids on buggy rides. Fall you play & catch leaves. Winter you play & catch snow. Spring you play & smell flowers."

What Is This Street Again?
Yesterday Dylan and I walked to the store. On our way back he was asking me "What is this street again." Pointing at the different streets we crossed & or walked by. I would read the street sign back to him. After awhile he lower his head, slumped his shoulders and made a loud sign "I am never going to remember all these streets!"

First Dentist Appointment
Dylan was such a good boy! I was a little worried because all morning he was saying "I don't think this is a very good idea. " The hygeniest & dentist were both very impressed with Dylan's teeth. Said they look great & we brush very well! Yay for us!!!

I Have Everything I Need
Dylan was so tried when I got home from work yesterday and he was a little whiney. He told me he had a bad day and he is very tired. He then proceeded to tell me that he doesn't think I need to work anymore. Of course I don't want to work and I would much rather be home with him I said. He knows that mommy goes to work so she is able to buy him things because that is what I have told him when he asks me to stay home and play with him. So yesterday my Sweet Little Guy says "But you don't have to go to work anymore because I have everything I need." I someday will wish that I had that recorded =)
Oh You Got Me
Thursday May 20th Dylan and I had been at the park most of the afternoon. As we were on our way home so I could get cleaned up to go to work Dylan asked if we could go to another park. I explained to him that I had to go to work and that Grandma Jean would probably take him to the park when she got home. "But your my favorite person in the whole wide world." replied Dylan. I did not respond back to what he said. I heard a sign from the back seat "You are supposed to say Oh you got me." I can't believe my Sweet Little 3 yr old is already trying to manipulate us. Boy they learn at a young age. I just wonder how may times he has pulled this one over on Grandpa- LOL!

The Circus
Dylan wasn't sure about being this close to the elephant, but either was I :) He really enjoyed throwing peanuts to them though. We really enjoyed his first circus experience.

Grandpa Bentzin's Toes
Today Dylan was playing with my toes "You have toes like my Grandpa Bentzin." At first I didn't realize what he was talking about. I looked down at my pretty purple toe nails and thought, what? Then it clicked....a couple days ago Dylan was asking me why the toe next to my big toe was so long. I told him that I got my long toes from my Grandpa Bentzin....his Great Grandpa Bentzin. I swear my little Stinker doesn't forget a thing.
He Felt The Baby Kick
Friday 4/24 Dylan and I were cuddled up watching TV in bed. The baby was being very active. I told Dylan that the baby was moving and he got so excited. He likes to place either his head or his hands on my stomach. It seemed every time his hands were on my stomach the activity would stop. Finally when Dylan's hand was there I felt a strong jolt. I could tell by the look on Dylan face that he felt it as well. He smiled real big "The baby kicked me" he said with a giggle. Then a few minutes later he said "Why did the baby kick my hand?" I am so excited to see what a wonderful big brother Dylan is going to be. He already runs up to me and hugs or kisses the baby belly at various times. He is such a Love Bug.

The Unwicked Witch- Matchbox Theatre
"You know I'm an actor. " says Dylan.
Grma Bobbie, Dylan & I had a great time @ the theatre. Before the show even started Dylan was hoping to go on stage....because he is an actor. After the show the kids did get to meet Wobble, Hobble, Gobble & Winona...and check out the set. Dylan loved it.
