Letter To Grandma

Dylan read his letter to grandma after he gave it to her. This is what it said.

Grandma,
I love you. I love coming to your house.

No, Daddy Ate Them All

I wish I had a picture of Dylan's face for this story.
Yesterday Me, Heath and Dylan had a couple errands to run so to keep our little Stinker Butt content in the back seat we gave him a bag of cheetos. Dylan loves cheetos!!! And let me tell you cheetos are not the best thing to give a toddler if you are trying to keep them clean. We arrived at Grandma Jeans and she usually always greets us as we are coming up the deck. "Oh boy did someone have cheetos?" Grandma asked. "NO, Daddy ate them all!!!" Dylan replied back with his cheese stained face! I guess Dylan didn't realize the evidence was all over him. Since I know how crafty my little Stinker Butt is I know he was hoping to score some more cheetos off of Grandma Jean with his reply. =)

Dr. Dylan

Dylan and Grandma Jean were playing race cars on the floor.  As they were racing Dylan crawled into the kitchen.  Grandma Jean told Dylan that her old knees didn't like the hard floor.  He said well we need to take you to the Doctor; come here and pulled Grandma into the living room.  Grandma asked who is going to take care of me?    Me and my nurse Dylan said.  Then he preceded to tell Grandpa that he was the Nurse.  Come with me Nurse said Dylan.  He told Grandpa to bandage Grandma's knees, so Grandpa starts grabbing Grandma's knees and she started laughing.  Grandma told Dylan that she didn't like to be tickled by his Nurse, so Dylan said go away Nurse!  Then Dylan gave Grandma a shot and said that would make her all better.

I Hate Getting Haircuts

Dylan had another haircut today. I thought he did a very good job considering he did not want to go see Winsey at all. I told him yesterday that Lindsey was going to cut his hair today. By the look on his face and his quick reaction to cover up his head, I didn't think he would be a good boy at all. "I don't want a haircut, I love my long hair." After his haircut Dylan says "Winsey I don't hate you. I hate getting haircuts!"

You Two P*ss Me Off

Friday February 5th we were going to eat at the Chinese Buffet, and Dylan wasn't to pleased with the idea. He doesn't care to much about going out to eat. Heath and I decided we would do a little shopping at Wal-Mart then stop at Hy-Vee to get Chinese on our way home. Dylan still wasn't satisfied with this decision either. Apparently he didn't want to go to Wal-Mart. He just wanted to go home. Dylan doesn't always get what he wants though. We pulled into the Wal-Mart parking lot and parked. "You two p*ss me off" Dylan says from the back seat. "What?!" I said shockingly as I looked up in the rear view mirror. Dylan's face scrunched up with a scowl, his arm started waving around and he repeated himself. "You two p*ss me off!" I'm not sure Heath and I got the point across when we were telling him that he shouldn't say that since we couldn't do it without a chuckle. We really have to watch ourselves around Magnet Ears. He is always listening, that is for sure!

You Guys Can't Come In

SuperBowl Sunday Heath and I had a party to go to so we were getting Dylan ready to go to my parents. As I was getting his coat on he says "You guys can't come in. You just have to drop me off!" I guess he just wanted Grandma and Grandpa to himself. He often informs me that I have to leave once we get to my moms. He doesn't like sharing attention and I think Grandma and I might talk too much. =)

Grandma & Kitties

Saturday morning Dylan told me he wanted to go to Grandma and kitties. He refers to the Grandparents houses by their pets. He says Grandma & kitties for my parents and Grandma & Bear for Heath's parents. "Well we should call Grandma and see what she is doing." I said.
"She is sitting on the couch waiting for me." Dylan replied

I Want A Grandma

Grandma Jean and Dylan were talking about his future sister or brother.  Grandma asked him what he wanted.  Dylan said he would like a sister.  Grandma tried explaining to him that he might not get a sister, it might be a brother.  "Then I want a Grandma!" Dylan replied

What Is It Mommy?

Last night Dylan and I were laying in bed and I must have exhaled long and loud because Dylan turned around and looked at me "What is it Mommy?" he asked.  "Nothing. Why? I asked back.  "Because you went like this." Dylan said and proceeded to make a loud sighing noise.  I just chuckled and assured him that nothing could possible be wrong when I am laying in bed watching The Good Night show with him.  Especially since that is my favorite part of the day.  Cuddle time.  Although Dylan did tell me earlier that afternoon that he doesn't like to cuddle that much because it is to tight.  Maybe Mommy should ease up a bit. LOL!

Conversations With Grandma Jean

"Where did you get all your energy? asked Grandma Jean.
"I got it from the sun."  Dylan replied. "The sun is so bright I can't see."

"I don't want to go to the nursing home.  The old folks don't like me anymore." Dylan said.
"Ohhh they do to." Grandma Jean replied.
"No, because I am a mean jaguar and I roar at them!" Dylan exclaimed
